My heart protects my mind from the teeth of your demons.

I’ll stay in the light while you loathe in the night.

Love and truth ignites the demise that’s been keeping me up with fright.

I rather sacrifice my ego than have my soul get caught up in the web of your judgment.

Because, the path to freedom is paved with wisdom.
